You can never have too many basic layering T-shirts. Amazon has a great deal on buying a set of three for an amazing price! Plus, you can select which color package you want. You can have 3 White, 3 Black, my favorite being 1 White -1 Black -1 Grey, and so many other options!
A Fluffy Pullover
These fluffy, super soft pullovers have been a huge staple for about a year and I don’t see them going out of style anytime soon. I actually gave a Sherpa pullover to my sister last year for Christmas and it constantly gets worn by her throughout the cold months! Plus, as long as you know roughly her size, you should be fine selecting the best fit for her!
Leopard Flats
I have worn a pair of leopard flats for probably the last 5 years! As a designer, they are great to subtly set off your usual office attire and still look polished and put together. I always make sure to try and find simple, clean pairs though; no studs, spikes, or gemstones! This keeps them looking classic and going with everything!
Booties
So yes, I’m guilty. I go crazy for shoes, especially boots! Booties are perfect for Architects (check just out my post listing them as one of the 3 Staples all Woman Architects should have!) I swear there is always at least one pair on my Christmas list. These from Vince Camuto are great though! First off, for a pair of heeled booties, they are so comfortable! I’m not a huge “heel” person and I can wear these all day! And the color is perfect cause it goes with so much! Dark or light blue jeans, black jeans, leggings, you name it!
A (Not So) Poufy Vest
Vest have been hitting it big the last year or so. I’ve always been a fan of the “core warmer” as it seems to be a go-to for contractors and other male construction industry people around my area. So, why not wear a cute woman’s cut vest to mimic what is being worn by the boys, right?! And this vest is a perfect less poufy option that will not overwhelm smaller frames!
Slip On Sneakers
Everyone loves a good pair of tennis shoes. They are the perfect accessory for doing those weekend tasks, running errands, or grocery shopping. These are great! Slip-on, super comfortable, and a perfect neutral color that will go with almost anything she wears! Pair them with sweaters and skinny jeans for that “I didn’t even try hard to look this stylish” look we all go for!
Hair Coil Ties
Always a good basic to give as a gift cause woman are always needing (and losing) their hair ties! These are a great alternative to the usual black elastic we are all used to seeing. They don’t slip and won’t tangle your hair! They tend to go fast from Amazon, so don’t miss out!
The “Throw Over Everything” Scarf
If you are worried about finding the perfect size or fit, you can never go wrong with giving a great scarf as a gift! As I stated in my recent post discussing what Closet Staples all Women Architects Should Have, scarves are an amazing accessory to just throw on that will pull the entire outfit together immediately! Plus, there are still so many other colors and patterns to chose from!
Sherpa Sweater
OMG, this sweater is amazing! I bought the green color and am in love with the overall fit and feel of the material! It is super soft and so cozy. Finding her size should be pretty easy considering this style can fit a little bit bigger and have that “boyfriend” look. A great item to pair with leggings (yes, it’s long enough in the back) or skinny jeans!
A Summer to Fall Dress
Do you like Short sleeve? Long Sleeve? Black? Gray? Teal? Pink? Take your pick with this awesome find! Amazon has about 22 different options and color combinations to choose from. It’s light enough to wear during the summer months, but you can also layer it with a cute leather jacket or cable knit cardigan.
